About this deal

I bought the Leap Frog Learning Band Walker for my daughter who, at the time, was about five months old.

The table is great because our LO isn't standing but we took off the legs and he really gets into it. I own several different Leapfrog products as well as several different push-toys and would recommend this one for being useful and educational. As a former teacher, I have a special place in my heart for anything for kids that can both entertain and teach. Safety Information: Please remove all packaging attachments, and any other components which are not a part of the toy, before giving this product to a child. It is quite stable and sturdy for little ones to push without trouble, but the keyboard on it doesn't respond to their exploration. As the weeks went by of us using it he is standing with it alot more and even learning to kind of walk with it too! On Nanny's VTech (which is many many years old) the wheels have worn and become shiny with age so it only moves cleanly on a carpet that offers quite a lot of resistance.

Color-changing dome - Watch the dome light up in six different colors to enhance the music and learning. It moved a little too fast that if he weren't already supporting himself enough I wouldn't trust it not to shoot out from under him.

We also got her a couple of other push walker type toys to try some variety, but she had no interest what-so-ever in any other walker but the Learning Band walker. The Leapfrog Baby Walker boasts 5 features that make it stand apart from the VTech walker and they are all things that make me, as a parent, very happy. At first my son was just trying to stand with it and when I would help him he would sit right down after getting up! This is great to entertain a sitting child and help with standing/walking, especially the wheel restrictors. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. The setting for the speed are on the wheels closest to baby which means sometimes they get bumped or stepped on during use. It makes for a very interesting review, mainly because Lara and her cousins have been using a version of the VTech walker at their grandparent's house ever since their first days so it is a product they recognise and have grown up with - a challenge for any new product to compete with. My daughter is clearly enjoying it and said her first french word 'au revoir' after the 3rd time playing with it! it also features three play modes for listening to music, playing learning games and getting active. I noticed that Lara enjoyed the activities on the VTech walker more than the Leapfrog and would spend more time playing with them.
