With their City Tour 2, Baby Jogger have succeeded amazingly well at implementing all the updates customers requested for its predecessor, the City Tour. The seat unit is more spacious, the handle is higher and a bit more sturdy and the adjustable footrest too – and what’s virtually a full lying position means your child can sleep much more comfortably as well. Wheel care: The wheels can be cleaned using a damp cloth or a directly applied hose; dry off any moisture with a soft towel or cloth. This stroller maneuvers exceptionally well across different surfaces, including grass, gravel, and carpet. In fact, our testers gave it a near-perfect 4.8 score for maneuverability. It’s easy to push and feels lightweight when doing so. Our testers barely notice the difference when transitioning from gravel to carpet or hardwood, so it provides a smooth ride with barely any bumps felt in the handle bar. The wheels turn quite well with a tight radius. The foot break is easy to latch and unlatch, providing extra convenience and safety. If in doubt, handwash only.It took us just less than 10 minutes to assemble the City Tour 2 Double, which involved opening the frame, attaching the four wheels and apron, and adjusting the straps and hood. We also tested the carrycot. What’s in the box? Pushing the Bugaboo Butterfly feels good. It may not roll as easily as the brand’s larger strollers, but in terms of the size of the wheels, you will have to be satisfied. Butterfly is smooth to turn and doesn't feel heavy to push, but it’s not a cobblestone or off-road travel stroller. The leverage in the handle is okay. With older children, you will need to press down a bit more to raise the front wheels. The storage basket is easily accessible and can handle as much as 8 kg.

What about the harness?The City Tour 2 Double can hold up to 5kg of storage, which is adequate enough for a day out with two children – fitting a bag of shopping, rain cover and changing bag. The basket, with mesh sides, is located under the pram’s seats. While we’re not sure the wheels will last four years, the rest of the pram feels made to last and offers decent value for money. Final verdict The buggy comes with two forward-facing seats that can be used for twins or children of different ages.
By the end of the week-long testing period, there were no stains left behind and the frame looked as good as new, but the wheels were a bit pitted. We’re not sure if they would last the four years they'd need to. What's it like to look at? Characteristics: How does the stroller cope with different surfaces, does the hood provide good protection against the sun, is the basket spacious and can the handle be height adjusted? For smaller children, the MF Plus works better, however. The seat’s swing away belly bar makes it easy for your child to climb in and out. The adjustable footrest helps to create a good lying position. The hood can be extended, but is positioned right up on the top of the stroller, where it provides limited sun protection. If you are going to take the MF Plus on a summer holiday, you’ll want to add a sun curtain or a stroller parasol. The Baby Jogger is made from strong yet lightweight fabrics, which can be detached from the frame for machine-washing.For days when you’re laden down with bags and need to free up some basket space, we found the pram nice and steady with a changing bag on the handlebar.
