About this deal

Another huge advantage of the Kemper Profiler Stage is it comes loaded with the same software you get with other Kemper units. So you’ll be able to add hundreds of effects to your “captured” tone and layer it up with whatever you like. This is a fairly big issue. First off, there is no GE200 controller software for the Mac. Apparently, it's in development, but why has it not already been completed and why was the product released without the appropriate software to accompany it?! Not the biggest issue in the world though, because there is an IR importer for Mac, but it only works on High Sierra.... Supports new amp simulation files (.gnr) while also supporting traditional amp model filetypes (.amp).

i can adjust the effect volume from the pedal itself, without scrolling through menus. This is priceless, live. Cramming not only the sounds of those units, but also a full-colour screen into a unit the size of the HX Stomp is certainly impressive and no mean feat. With MIDI in and out, there’s clearly been some consideration for those that want to incorporate the HX Stomp into a rig controlled by a pedal switcher. In that context, it’s easy to see the attraction.

MOOER GE200 Amp Modelling & Multi Effects Processor

Whether or not the pedal has amp simulation is an important factor, as amp modelling is difficult and taxing on a DSP chip. As a result, normally at the budget end of the market you wouldn't expect to see decent amp modelling.

In summary I don't recommend the GE200 as a product. The Zoom G1 Four is a quarter of the price and if it's the same algos as the G3 will have better FX and runs on batteries so I may end up with one of those.Programmable FX LOOP with optional signal chain routing for easy integration of your favorite effects and ultimate flexibility for 4-cable method and amp setups. The Helix is easily the best product Line 6 has ever made! I used to own one of the M13 pedals, and the Helix is light years ahead of those older units. The MS-3 is technically a loop-switcher, aimed at being the core of a small rig. It's also a capable multi-effects unit in its own right though. Besides an intuitive interface and great core sounds, it benefits from Roland's excellent Librarian software for editing on a computer.

There’s an incredible array of routing options for integrating it into your rig, and you can select which effects you want to run before or after your amplifier for extra flexibility. As well as being an incredibly powerful tool for guitarists, it’s also right at home in the studio thanks to its excellent editing app. In this way, the MS-3 can be used either as the starting point to a small, flexible board, or the final pedal to round one off.All of this is housed in a sleek, brushed aluminium shell which looks fantastic in the home or studio and provides a heavy-duty roadworthy chassis for taking on tour. I had a G5, sold it and got a G5n because of its superior switching options that I hoped would suit my gigging needs. But although the modelling was perhaps very slightly better there really wasn't very much difference at all. But in many ways it was actually inferior to the G5. The worst things, and I submitted some detailed posts on this, was the functionality. In the G5 you could have up to 9 fx and an amp and cab was a single slot. In the G5n it took 3 of those slots..2 for an amp model and 1 for a cab. Further, the looper was global in the G5 and was in addition to the 9fx slots, but in the G5n it took up an additional slot, and was not global but had to be added into the signal chain of each patch which was ridiculous. Collection and delivery costs are included for the first 2 years in the event of an item becoming faulty All in all this is a great "all in one" unit. Great for beginners who love exploring possibilities and also great for more seasoned musicians that require space savers, mobility, or maintaining peace with sensitive children without losing quality.

Digital modeling multi-effects pedals take a while to learn. However, once you dial them, you can easily recall presets and saved settings. If this sounds like the right tool for the job, then it’s a good way to go. Detailed controls to set up the digital amps (and many choices) and Cabinets (can even set mic distance/placement)Moore has an online community producing more IR presets...and you can add your own, too. The community is still small, but you can find some neat sounds there. Fender has always had one hand in the modeling game from the original Cyber Twin to the more modern offerings from their Tone Master range of amplifiers. The Fender Tone Master Pro is a new offering with its sights set firmly on some big names in the modeling game. So I already mentioned the GE200 a few times in this article as a comparison, and here I think it’s a good unit. Yes! You have a series of hardware keys instead of the touch screen that you find on the more expensive units. These keys allow easy access to each effect. Finding the perfect Multi-effects processor pedal can be a daunting task. The good news is there’s so much common ground between them all. All of the units on this list stand out regarding sound quality and usability. If you are new to any of these types of Multi-effects processor pedals, you will have a slight learning curve ahead of you. One of the massive advantages of the Kemper product lines is they will capture the entire signal chain. So if you have an amplifier, pedal, and sound you love when you play live, then the Kemper is the best at replicating it.
